About the position

The Business Analyst position at The Norland Group involves conducting research, data analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to support business decision-making and operations. This hybrid role requires collaboration with various departments to improve business processes and ensure quality control, while also developing innovative data solutions to address complex issues. The analyst will work closely with IT management to deliver value and support strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and data analysis to support business decision-making.
• Develop business cases for strategy or change initiatives.
• Create innovative data solutions for complex business issues.
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership.
• Manage call delivery requirements across sites while executing OT/UT.
• Provide direction and coaching to other Business Analysts.
• Analyze complex data models with cross-functional impacts.
• Build predictive models to detect anomalies and resolve financial imbalances.
• Assist in the preparation of annual business plans for IT functional areas.
• Maintain annual capital and expense budgets and compile financial reports.
• Implement cost allocation programs and address vendor issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 6 years of job-related experience.
• Strong knowledge of business and financial planning concepts.
• Experience with budgeting processes.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite, especially Excel, Project, and Access.
• Strong business analysis, research, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Graduate Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Amazon Web Marketplace Tools: JIRA, SMC Remedy, Wiki.
