About the position

The IT Project Manager - Financial Integration at NTT DATA is responsible for leading financial integration projects for a global healthcare devices and life sciences client. This role requires strong project management skills, particularly in financial implementations, and the ability to collaborate with various global stakeholders. The successful candidate will utilize effective project management practices to deliver cost-effective implementations that exceed stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Define project charter, project scope, assess impact, determine implementation approach, schedule, budget, and resource needs working with global stakeholders.
  • Manage financial project implementations and ensure compliance with GxP validation processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit business and technical requirements, prioritizing implementation aligned with IT strategies.
  • Leverage waterfall, iterative, and Agile methodologies while coaching and mentoring team members.
  • Utilize PM Framework and tools like Planview and JIRA for increased productivity.
  • Communicate effectively with global teams, adapting to different time zones and cultures.
  • Build and execute operational and technical project plans, facilitating project gate reviews and escalating issues as needed.
  • Manage project scope and changes, identify risks, prioritize conflicting needs, and ensure successful project completion with minimal guidance.
  • Provide regular status updates to leadership and management, driving improvements in project outcomes.
  • Adapt to support new priority projects as communicated.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as an IT project manager with at least 3 years in financial integrations.
  • Minimum of 5 years in the pharma/medical devices industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience in IT projects.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
