About the position

The IT Project Manager for Financial Integration at NTT DATA is responsible for leading and managing finance-related projects that require financial integrations for a global healthcare devices and life sciences client. This role involves collaborating with various divisions and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery while exceeding stakeholder expectations. The position requires strong project management skills, particularly in financial implementations, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Define project charter, project scope, assess impact, determine implementation approach, schedule, budget, and resource needs with global stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit business and technical requirements and prioritize implementation aligning to IT strategies.
  • Utilize waterfall, iterative, and Agile methodologies while coaching and mentoring team members.
  • Leverage PM Framework and tools like Planview and JIRA for increased productivity.
  • Build and execute operational and technical project plans, facilitate project gate reviews, and escalate issues to meet project milestones.
  • Manage scope and change aligning to business priorities, identify risks and issues, and prioritize conflicting needs.
  • Provide regular status updates to leadership and management teams, driving improvements to project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as an IT project manager with at least 3 years in financial integrations.
  • Minimum of 5 years in the pharma/medical devices sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience in IT projects.
  • PMP certification is a plus.

  • Experience with financial project implementations, feature enhancements, upgrades, and life cycle management.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • GxP validation experience.
  • Effective presentation skills for delivering project status and risk mitigations to management.
  • Self-motivated critical thinker with strong conflict management skills.
  • Experience in PM Framework, resource management, and quality audits.
