About the position

Innova Solutions is seeking a remote IT Project Manager with a strong background in healthcare data informatics or data warehousing projects. This position is crucial for managing and analyzing healthcare data related to various projects, including networks, claims, utilization, precertification, member engagement, and cost management. The Project Manager will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of corporate strategies within the healthcare analytics department. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the healthcare or insurance industry and will not be required to perform hands-on data work, but will oversee projects that involve data informatics and data warehousing. The role requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or health sciences like Public Health or Health Administration. Candidates should have 4-8 years of experience in IT, with demonstrated skills in analyzing and reporting data sets using tools such as WinSQL, Crystal Reports, Toad, Excel, Advantage Suite, Tableau, or WebFOCUS. Familiarity with database tools, data access, and integrity issues is essential. Strong analytical and technical skills are necessary to execute each phase of analysis, including methodological design, data integration, and data visualization. Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills are critical for success in this position. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple priorities, maintaining attention to detail, and solving problems effectively. Knowledge of healthcare measurement methodologies and experience with project management methodologies and tools are preferred. Responsibilities

  • Analyze healthcare data related projects to networks, claims, utilization, precertification, member engagement, and cost management.
  • Support multiple divisions by performing project support related to healthcare utilization and quality.
  • Conduct analytical design, data gathering, and analysis for healthcare data projects.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to build business relationships.
  • Manage multiple priorities and maintain organized records throughout project phases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline or health sciences required.
  • 4-8 years of experience in IT preferred.
  • Experience analyzing or reporting data sets using tools such as WinSQL, Crystal Reports, Toad, Excel, Advantage Suite, Tableau, or WebFOCUS.
  • Knowledge in data access, database tools, database analysis, primary keys, indexing, and data integrity issues.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills necessary for executing analysis phases.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Tableau exposure is nice to have.
  • Familiarity with various products and contracts utilized by companies in the healthcare industry preferred.
  • Statistics and/or mathematics experience preferred.
  • Technical writing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of multiple Agile delivery frameworks preferred.
