About the position
The Infrastructure IT Project Manager will play a crucial role in Hyatt's Hotel Openings and Transitions team, collaborating with the Field Technology Services team to enhance Hyatt's position as a leading hospitality company. This role emphasizes diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering connections with stakeholders and colleagues while managing multiple IT projects related to hotel openings.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Field Technology Services team to ensure successful hotel openings and transitions.
- Communicate effectively with owners, owner's representatives, and consultants regarding project requirements and design standards.
- Maintain detailed meeting minutes and documentation for all project-related discussions and decisions.
- Develop professional presentations and documentation for stakeholders, including hotel owners and leadership.
- Manage multiple IT projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to standards.
- Problem-solve effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Travel to meet stakeholders and conduct site visits as necessary.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in Hotel IT or IT Network Infrastructure Design.
- Associate degree or greater in Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- Training or certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.
- Specific experience with blueprint reviews for Low Voltage, MATV, and CCTV systems.
Nice-to-haves
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
