Connection is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager for a long-term hybrid contract opportunity in Reston, VA. The role involves leading mid-sized IT projects across application and infrastructure domains, requiring a proactive leader who can manage project timelines and budgets effectively while implementing Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee IT projects in both application and infrastructure, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
- Work closely with IT operations, manufacturing, and logistics teams to coordinate project tasks and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Implement Agile methodologies to drive project efficiency and adaptability.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Lead meetings, document project progress, and address project-related issues promptly.
- Ensure that all project objectives align with organizational goals and client needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT project management with an emphasis on operations, application, and infrastructure projects.
- Agile experience required; PMP certification is beneficial but not required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
