About the position

The IT Project Manager II at Wacker Chemie AG is responsible for overseeing and coordinating IT projects within the organization. This role involves managing project activities, ensuring compliance with IT governance policies, and facilitating user training and adoption of IT tools. The position requires collaboration with the global IT PMO team and regional stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes and efficient IT processes.

Responsibilities

  • Support IT managers by coordinating project activities and tracking progress.
  • Manage regional IT projects, ensuring timely and successful completion of tasks.
  • Align and collaborate with the global IT PMO team to implement best practices.
  • Create and maintain documentation for IT processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Design and document process flows to improve efficiency across the organization.
  • Develop and communicate IT training plans for end-users, conducting training sessions as needed.
  • Collect and document business requirements from regional stakeholders and input demand requests into ServiceNow.
  • Track and monitor regional IT demands from submission to completion, providing updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance policies and provide audit support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7+ years of total IT experience in a large or mid-size company
  • 2+ years of IT Project and Demand experience
