In this role, you will oversee multiple high-priority projects and business unit programs that require considerable resources and high levels of integration. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that projects are documented, prioritized, and executed to meet program and project requirements. You will focus on meeting customer needs and satisfaction by managing program commitments and resolving ambiguity and issues. This includes maintaining effective communication with sponsors, stakeholders, and management, including senior leaders and executives. You will provide vision and strategy to meet business needs and defined objectives, interfacing with all areas affected by the project, including end users, business stakeholders, support functions, and vendors. It is essential to ensure adherence to quality standards and established policies and processes throughout the project lifecycle. As a leader, you will manage multiple and/or large-scale high-risk projects by facilitating project charters, defining vision and objectives, overseeing financials, scope, metrics, quality, schedule, resourcing, vendor management, dependencies, risks, and status reporting. You will ensure smooth project progression by effectively managing the project plan, conducting phase gate reviews, handling change requests, and providing stakeholder status reporting. Your leadership will guide both the project team and business partners while working cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes, ensuring appropriate and professional communication among stakeholders. You will be responsible for evaluating project progress and quality, managing the issue resolution process, and taking corrective action as necessary. Additionally, you will develop quality business relationships to anticipate and address client needs proactively. Your role will also involve mentoring and coaching team members and project managers/analysts, providing feedback to group managers regarding the work performance of team members. The program profile indicates a span of impact across the corporation with multiple lines of business, a budget impact ranging from $10,000,000 to $100,000,000, and timelines for corporate programs and strategic projects that can extend from one to five years in duration.
