We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client's Digital Technology organization in Chicago, IL. This role is crucial for managing multiple projects within the Contact Center technology area, which encompasses reservation tools, communication tools, and customer care applications. The ideal candidate will thrive in a large organizational setting and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to prioritize effectively. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from planning and scheduling to execution and control, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within budget. In this position, you will lead both business and IT teams through all phases of the software development lifecycle. This includes not only the planning and building of applications but also their operational management. You will be expected to manage moderately complex IT and security-related projects, which requires a strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies. Your role will involve creating and managing project plans, identifying and mitigating risks, managing dependencies across teams, and knowing when to escalate issues. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be responsible for creating business cases and delivering impactful presentations to executives. The Project Manager will also need to demonstrate strong budget and financial management skills, having experience managing budgets of $1 million or more. You will be expected to manage vendor relationships effectively and possess excellent presentation skills, particularly in PowerPoint. The ability to influence stakeholders positively and maintain strong attention to detail will be critical to your success in this role. Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies is required, as you will need to pivot between these approaches as project needs dictate.
