About the position

IDR is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join one of our top clients in Atlanta, GA. This role is pivotal in managing Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence related projects within a large organization that values a team-oriented culture. The Senior Project Manager will oversee the organization-wide Security Awareness Program, which includes phishing simulations, computer-based training, and proactive communications regarding the latest threats. This position requires a strong collaboration with the Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team to assist in building programs and initiatives that promote a security mindset throughout the organization. Additionally, the candidate should display knowledge and understanding of the EU Artificial Intelligence (AI) Act Compliance Activities, including AI inventory and AI Risk Assessment. This is a hybrid position, requiring the candidate to be local to Atlanta, GA, and to work onsite two days a week.

Responsibilities

• Managing Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence related projects.
• Overseeing organization-wide Security Awareness Program which includes phishing simulations, computer-based training, and proactive communications on the latest threats.
• Collaborating with the Cybersecurity GRC team to assist with building programs and initiatives to promote a security mindset in the organization.
• Displaying knowledge and understanding of the EU Artificial Intelligence (AI) Act Compliance Activities such as AI inventory and AI Risk Assessment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Project Management experience.
• Extensive background overseeing Cybersecurity related projects and programs.
• Strong understanding of Cybersecurity and GRC tools and programs.
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence compliance activities highly preferred.
