About the position

The IT Project Manager III position at Computer Consultants International involves managing and coordinating multiple projects within the Family and Economic Support Technical Services (FESTS) section, specifically supporting child support systems. The role requires expertise in various project management methodologies, including waterfall, agile, and hybrid agile, and entails responsibilities such as PMO support, risk management, and serving as a liaison between business and technical partners.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate multiple projects using waterfall, agile, and hybrid agile methodologies.
  • Provide direction, guidance, and consultation for project management tasks.
  • Support PMO tasks including managing action items and backlog, tracking risks and issues, and preparing meeting agendas and minutes.
  • Prepare and manage communication plans and assist with process improvements.
  • Track resource allocation and prepare status reports.
  • Manage work plans and serve as a liaison between business and technical partners.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with business customers to document requirements and deliverables.
  • 15+ years of experience using Changeman, CNTL-M, Tivoli, Cherwell, or similar tracking mechanisms for project management.
  • 10+ years of experience in application development and support across all phases of the systems development life cycle for CICS/DB2/COBOL/SAS/JCL Mainframe Systems.
  • 8+ years of experience in completing Unit/Development Testing, Systems Testing, and supporting User Acceptance Testing.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • 15+ years of experience in creating detailed work plans using automated tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the DCF Child Support business area.
  • Prior experience with the KIDS system.
  • Familiarity with State of Wisconsin application systems, procedures, and development standards.
