The IT Project Manager III position at Randstad US is a contract role based in Chicago, Illinois, aimed at supporting a Commercial Airline client within their Digital Technology organization. In this position, the Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple medium to moderately complex IT and security-related projects. This includes planning, scheduling, and controlling project activities. The role will lead both business and IT groups through all phases of the software development lifecycle, which includes planning, building, and running applications. Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as solid project management experience, including building and managing project plans, identifying and managing risks and issues, and knowing when to escalate matters. The candidate should also be familiar with standard waterfall project management tools and processes, with the ability to pivot to Agile tools and processes as needed. The position demands strong budget and financial management experience, demonstrated experience managing vendors, and excellent PowerPoint skills. The ability to influence stakeholders positively and maintain strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills is vital. Attention to detail is also a key requirement for success in this role.
