About the position

The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within strict deadlines and budget constraints. This role involves acquiring resources, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring quality control throughout the project lifecycle. The candidate will gather and document system and functional requirements, analyze system functionality, and ensure adherence to best business practices while working with developers and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Perform requirements analysis
  • Evaluate business processes and anticipate requirements
  • Uncover areas for improvement and develop solutions
  • Document both Business and Functional Requirements
  • Direct and manage project development from beginning to end
  • Define project objectives and oversee quality control throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

  • At least two years of business analyst and project management experience in an IT environment
  • Knowledge of IT applications, processes, software, and equipment
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams
  • Skill in planning and preparing written and verbal communication
  • Skill in technical planning of IT projects
  • Ability to synthesize project information and establish project scope
  • Ability to apply strong project management skills and methodologies
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users
  • Experience leading small groups and one-on-one situations
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects
  • General understanding of application programming, database, and system design
  • Understanding of Internet, Intranet, Extranet, and client/server architectures
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Reliable communication availability during non-scheduled work hours
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent educational experience preferred
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
  • Verify right to work in the United States
