About the position

The IT Project Manager - Integrations at Valvoline Global is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, execution, and delivery of major technology projects, particularly focusing on the integration of various systems and applications related to the SAP S4 initiative. This role requires effective client management, resource planning, and the ability to coordinate tasks across business and IT technical teams to meet project objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and execute small to medium-sized projects on time, within budget, and within scope.
  • Define and analyze project requirements; develop and maintain project plans and documentation.
  • Manage project budget, capital, and expenses; ensure quality through acceptance testing.
  • Lead post-project evaluation sessions and support high-level planning for approved projects.
  • Work closely with project team members and third-party resources to ensure alignment on project requirements and deadlines.
  • Analyze project risks and collaborate with leadership to identify solutions.
  • Interact daily with other IT groups and business partners, and frequently with vendors and customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, with 5 years of professional experience (or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree).
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in project management within a technical or engineering environment, focusing on systems integration.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with project management software and tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Trello).
  • PMP, Agile, Scrum, or similar project management certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.

  • Ability to lead and influence without authority.
  • Thorough knowledge of requirements management processes and related test procedures.
  • Understanding of standard Change Management processes.
  • Proficiency in working with multiple IT functional segments for IT implementations.
  • Strong project management skills with a record of delivering large programs/projects.
