IT Project Manager roles exist throughout the P&G organization and own the delivery of every major change to the company's digitized operations. These roles range from foundational IT infrastructure, facilities, workstations, and transactional systems of record to business analytics, data science, and business-unit embedded roles. This role is often a full-time role for larger projects or can be a multiple-hat role in which you are leading more than one project at a time. For this internship, you would be in Cincinnati, Ohio for the duration of the summer. Leading IT project teams to deliver projects that build business value is a core responsibility. This includes planning and estimating the work, leading execution, presenting inside and outside the project, and delivering to agreed project specifications. In this role, you would apply relevant practices and methods to optimize project efficiency and speed. You would lead changes in specifications and plans while also following compliance requirements. IT Project Managers at P&G will often become capable in multiple project methods including sequential/waterfall projects, Agile projects, and hybrid methods. The level of experience correlates to the breadth of responsibility; for example, a junior project leader might be responsible for a small project or a portion of a larger project, while a senior project leader could be defining and leading the company's largest value, most sophisticated, and most business-critical projects.
