About the position

The IT Project Manager IV is responsible for the evaluation, implementation, and ongoing support of various platforms, including hardware, operating systems, software, and systems tools. This role involves providing consultation and direct technical support in problem management, integration, and systems programming, ensuring platform performance and availability meet design criteria through monitoring and timely service restoration. The position requires collaboration with other business units to configure platforms for product installation and ongoing support, as well as designing and documenting enterprise standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, implement, and support various platforms including hardware and software.
  • Provide consultation and direct technical support in problem management and systems programming.
  • Implement releases, upgrades, and changes into the environment.
  • Monitor platform performance and availability to meet design criteria.
  • Perform root cause analysis to recover from service interruptions.
  • Consult with business units to configure platforms for product installation.
  • Design and document enterprise standards and procedures.
  • Ensure platforms conform to established enterprise standards.
  • Provide on-site and on-call support as needed.
  • Plan and implement life cycle management of software and hardware.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2016, 2012, and 2008.
  • Strong knowledge of IIS configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Technology Stack including .NET and MSSQL Databases.
  • Knowledge of Apache Tomcat and SAN technologies.
  • Familiarity with Global Active Directory Domain and BigIP F5 LTM Load Balancing.
  • Understanding of multi-data center environments and MSSQL Cluster Environments.
  • Ability to troubleshoot network and firewall issues.
  • Knowledge of Powershell/Batch scripting and Python.
  • Experience with application performance monitoring tools like BigPanda and Datadog.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and principles.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience.
