About the position

The IT Project Manager for Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) is responsible for managing multiple projects related to data migration and applications within the oil and gas industry. This role requires deep expertise in project management methodologies, particularly SAFe and Agile, to ensure successful project completion while maintaining strong communication with business leads and stakeholders. The position involves overseeing all aspects of project planning, execution, and resource management, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects related to Data Migration and Applications for Mergers & Acquisitions.
• Oversee all aspects of projects including planning, resource estimation, execution, and communication with project business leads.
• Manage and obtain approvals for all change requests regarding scope and timelines.
• Lead project resources to achieve on-time delivery and resolve escalations.
• Prioritize issues and determine the impact of application issues on the business environment.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, providing program/project updates and recommendations.
• Review all deliverables throughout the project lifecycle to ensure completeness, consistency, quality, and requirement traceability.
• Ensure integration between business process requirements, current application environment, and vendor software.
• Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate project and operational risks.
• Coordinate development work through vendors and contract resources.
• Produce statistics and status/dashboard reporting on progress of various test cycles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• PMP and Scrum certification required.
• Minimum of 7 years in project management, with experience as a Scrum Master.
• Experience managing projects related to Applications and Data Migration.
• Proficiency in JIRA.
• Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
