About the position

As an IT Project Manager at Idaho Central Credit Union, you will play a crucial role in managing the organization's projects to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality implementation of technology solutions that align with the business objectives of the Credit Union while minimizing any negative impact on users. This position requires a proactive approach to project management, where you will support and lead the implementation of new technologies to meet business needs. You will coordinate and collaborate with various team members and third-party vendors to ensure seamless project execution. In this fast-paced environment, you will manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring that budgets are adhered to and deadlines are met. Monitoring project progress will be essential, and you will need to implement changes as necessary to keep projects on track. You will assist in developing rollout plans for different environments, including development, testing, training, and production. Working closely with project teams, you will ensure that test requirements and solutions meet quality objectives, project scope, and delivery dates. Your role will also involve utilizing ICCU's task and project management systems to complete assignments and tasks effectively. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive project plans that outline project scope, deliverables, schedules, resources, and budgets. Additionally, you will monitor risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle. Implementing process improvement recommendations to meet business unit functions and goals will be a key aspect of your role. Following agile methodologies, you will provide transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and documenting important actions from these meetings. Your positive influence will contribute to creating an energetic team culture, and you will be expected to take on other duties and projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Support and lead the implementation of new technology to satisfy business needs.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Credit Union team members and 3rd party vendors.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure that budgets are adhered to and deadlines are met.
  • Monitor project progress and implement changes where necessary.
  • Assist with rollout plans for development, test, training, and production environments.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure test requirements, test solutions, and test execution meet quality objectives, project scope, and delivery dates.
  • Complete assignments and tasks utilizing ICCU task and project management systems.
  • Develop project plans including project scope, deliverables, schedule, resources, and budget.
  • Monitor risk, assumptions, issues, and dependencies for projects.
  • Implement process improvement recommendations to satisfy business unit functions and goals.
  • Follow the agile methodology.
  • Provide transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Information Technology, Project Management, or Financial Industry related fields preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to work outside of normal business hours.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities with limited direction.
  • Outstanding leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of the Credit Union and member records.
