About the position

The IT Project Manager at Global Engineering & Technology, Inc. (GET) is a critical role within the cybersecurity team, primarily focused on managing multiple IT projects that support a sensitive national security site for the U.S. Department of Energy. This position is mostly remote, with some required travel to Oak Ridge, Tennessee, for on-site interactions and training. The role demands a high level of responsibility and technical management skills to ensure cybersecurity is integrated into IT projects, thereby protecting the organization's critical infrastructure and assets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and directly manage multiple cybersecurity IT projects.
• Ensure cybersecurity is integrated into IT projects to protect critical infrastructure and assets.
• Track and communicate IT project status and demonstrate project value to the organization.
• Coordinate with departments, project teams, business unit managers, and the project management office to achieve product-oriented outcomes.
• Create, revise, and execute project documentation including project management plans, communication plans, test plans, risk mitigation plans, and configuration management plans.

Requirements

• Current DOE 'Q' or DoD, DHS, or IC 'Top Secret' security clearance.
• 5-10 years of hands-on IT Project Management experience.
• Experience delivering cloud-enabling capabilities.
• Associates degree in a technical field and 10 years of related experience OR Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience.
• Technical field experience related to IT Project Management for classified cybersecurity operations.
