About the position

The IT Project Manager (MSP) role at Bowman Williams involves overseeing small projects within a Cloud and Managed IT Services Company. The position focuses on project planning, execution, and closure, ensuring that technology solutions are tailored to meet client needs. The role requires collaboration with junior technicians and clients, emphasizing the implementation of cloud technologies and network-level projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a leader on the team and assist junior technicians.
• Act as a consultant to clients by recommending, architecting, and implementing custom solutions.
• Complete projects such as O365 migrations.
• Configure and support firewall configurations.
• Support cloud setup, configurations, design, and support.
• Implement Microsoft Active Directory Services.
• Manage implementation of Microsoft systems, virtualization cloud, and workstation projects.
• Oversee network-level projects including WAN, LAN, and Wifi connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to plan and document project delivery.
• Complete the approved Initiative Status and Review (IS&R) document and obtain sign-off from the Project Coordinator.
• Implement assigned projects based on the documented project delivery plan.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience working for a Managed Service Provider (REQUIRED).
• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience with public cloud technologies, specifically Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
• Intermediate to advanced networking skills.
• Experience with O365 Migration.
• Experience managing small projects including project planning.
• ConnectWise experience preferred.
