About the position

The IT Project Manager will oversee projects related to network infrastructure, security, and voice services, ensuring they are completed within defined timelines and budgets. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including agency staff and vendors, to incorporate their input into project execution and maintain compliance with project management policies.

Responsibilities

  • Track and report on security audit findings and remediation progress to stakeholders and project teams.
  • Assist agency executive management, division directors, and IT staff in leading project tasks and resources.
  • Utilize project management tools, reports, templates, mentoring, training, and coaching for IT project teams.
  • Work directly with agency staff and vendors to fulfill project requirements.
  • Implement project management best practices, including risk, quality, and change management.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, schedule, and cost.
  • Provide leadership, collaboration, supervision, training, guidance, and support to project team members.
  • Ensure agency compliance with project management policies and standards.
  • Coordinate activities for cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and execute change strategies, including stakeholder analysis and communication plans.
  • Manage relationships across departments, customers, and vendors to align projects with business objectives.
  • Manage issues and escalate critical issues for immediate resolution.

Requirements

  • Strong background in customer relationship management.
  • Proven experience in project management.
  • Experience with infrastructure, network security, and voice services.
  • Ability to track and report on project progress and audit findings.
  • Proficient in using project management tools and methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
