About the position

The IT Project Manager will oversee the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for multiple projects, primarily in the healthcare sector, specifically Medicare and Medicaid. This role requires a strong understanding of both agile and waterfall methodologies, with a focus on managing 2-3 projects simultaneously. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for developing schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while adhering to high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for multiple projects.
• Manage 2-3 projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project management processes and methodologies.
• Develop project schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Track developer progress and schedule/cost variance.
• Ensure project documentation and deliverables are complete and in accordance with standards.
• Facilitate effective communications between all parties involved in the project.
• Monitor project plans, assignments, and work efforts on a daily basis.
• Identify and manage project issues throughout the project life cycle.
• Develop and monitor project plans, risk management plans, and project documentation from scope to post-implementation.

Requirements

• 3 years of IT experience in a leadership capacity on project teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and schedule management.
• Experience with CMMI-DEV and EVM methodologies.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in a team or project environment.
• Ability to manage all phases of work effort from inception to completion.

• Working towards the PMP Scrum Master certification.
• SAFe Scaled Agile Certification.
