About the position

The IT Project Manager will oversee and facilitate the alignment of the Battlespace Awareness and Information Operations Program Office Portfolio with OPNAV goals. This role involves leading transformational initiatives to enhance tactical Information Warfare systems deliveries, providing systems architecture and software acquisition expertise, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders regarding program requirements and resource staffing issues.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Battlespace Awareness and Information Operations Program Office Portfolio alignment with OPNAV goals.
• Lead/assist transformational initiatives enhancing tactical Information Warfare systems deliveries.
• Provide systems architecture and software acquisition expertise in support of cryptologic warfare systems.
• Ensure program communications meet sponsor/customer requirements, are timely, complete, and professionally presented.
• Engage with multiple stakeholders including OPNAV to advocate on emergent and critical program resource staffing issues.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
• Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
• Must obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test is required.
• At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NO-05 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
• Qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
