About the position

The IT Supply Chain Project Manager will oversee projects related to supply chain, inventory management, finance, and timekeeping enterprise applications within a medical center affiliated with a California Public Ivy university. This hybrid role primarily allows for remote work, with occasional onsite meetings required. The position is a contract role lasting 26 weeks, with the possibility of extension, and is aimed at candidates with extensive project management experience, particularly in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee IT supply chain projects related to inventory management and timekeeping applications.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Facilitate onsite meetings and planning sessions as required, approximately quarterly or bi-monthly.
  • Estimate and approve travel expenses for non-local candidates attending onsite meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with project management best practices and methodologies.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of project management experience in supply chain, inventory management, finance, and timekeeping applications.
  • PMP, PSM, and PSFS certifications preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

  • Experience in healthcare IT projects.
