About the position

The IT Project Manager role at Perrygo involves supporting Navy customers in Lexington Park, MD, by managing various projects and service requests. Responsibilities

  • Tracks program/project status and schedules.
  • Provides expertise in specific business and/or domain areas such as logistics, financial management, and change management.
  • Performs the role of project manager for projects and service requests through NHDSM.
  • Assists in defining business and technical requirements with customers.
  • Develops and recommends solutions and strategies based on customer business goals and existing systems infrastructure.
  • Facilitates internal and external coordination and communication among various functional areas to ensure project progression.
  • Provides feedback and recommendations for process improvements within product teams.
  • Monitors and updates Plan of Actions & Milestones (POA&M) for assigned projects.
  • Hosts regular status meetings with customers to report project performance and address outstanding actions.
  • Completes audits for all on-premise and AWS GovCloud hosted systems to ensure accurate record keeping and reconciles discrepancies.
  • Leads the PM/Cost team by providing training and guidance on all Cloud & On-Prem projects.
  • Manages employee performance, customer service, and product quality.
  • Acts as the primary PM/Cost point of contact for internal DNA customers.
  • Develops and implements process improvements and works with customers on problem resolution.
  • Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.
  • Analyzes requirements, status, budget, and schedules in project execution.
  • Performs management, technical, or business case analyses.
  • Collects, completes, organizes, and interprets data relating to Cloud & On-Prem Data Hosting projects.
  • Provides risk analysis and mitigation on technical, cost, or schedule-related impacts.

Requirements

  • 0-3 years of experience with an Associate's Degree for Junior level; 3+ years with a Bachelor's Degree for Journeyman level.
  • Allowable substitutions: 2 years + HS Diploma or equivalent for Junior level; 7+ years with an Associate's Degree or 9+ years with a HS Diploma for Journeyman level.
  • Must have a Secret Security Clearance (must be a US Citizen); Top Secret may be needed in the future.
