About the position

The IT Project Manager/Sr. Consultant role is a long-term contract position focused on managing various IT projects within the manufacturing industry. This position is crucial for ensuring projects are planned, executed, and finalized according to strict deadlines and budget constraints, utilizing various project management tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT projects to ensure they are completed in a timely manner and within budget.
• Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for project management and coordination.
• Apply the standard waterfall methodology to manage the progression of the project.
• Leverage MS Dynamics Business Central experience to manage business operations.
• Utilize SharePoint for collaboration, file sharing, and web publishing.
• Oversee the application and maintenance of manufacturing industry standards in all projects.
• Monitor project deliverables and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to keep them informed about the progress of the project.
• Identify potential project risks and devise contingency plans.
• Ensure all project documents are safely archived following project completion.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Project Management or related roles.
• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required.
• Experience with SharePoint is necessary.
• Familiarity with MS Dynamics 365 Business Central is essential.
• Knowledge of Traditional Waterfall project management methodologies is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Relevant certifications in Project Management are a plus.
