About the position

The IT Project Manager/Systems Analyst at Holt International Children's Services is responsible for coordinating and supporting various IT projects aimed at improving operational functions and enhancing the organization's effectiveness. This role involves overseeing multiple projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they align with business objectives while fostering positive relationships with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities, with a focus on systems development and project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders and key project participants.
  • Build confidence and rapport with stakeholders and team members.
  • Optimize project plans, tasks, deliverables, schedules, and budgets.
  • Work well in a team environment and manage multiple tasks and workflows.
  • Create presentations and reports to communicate project status.
  • Implement IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Set project goals and develop plans to meet those goals.
  • Facilitate collaboration across departments to ensure successful project completion.
  • Train users on software applications and write instruction manuals for systems.
  • Function as the systems analyst for the CRM, including troubleshooting and training.
  • Manage the CRM Core and Adoption Core teams during upgrades.
  • Analyze current systems and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and propose solutions that align with business needs and technical capabilities.
  • Create detailed specifications and technical documentation.
  • Support vendors during the implementation of new systems or enhancements.
  • Conduct testing and validation of systems to ensure they meet business requirements.
  • Stay current with industry trends and recommend improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in project management or systems analysis.
  • Project management certification (PMP or CAPM preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of SQL and systems analysis methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in Power BI and Power Automate.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Demonstrable problem-solving project management experience.
  • Experience in technical writing, teaching, or public speaking.
