CACI is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead the replacement of 7,500 workstations (desktops/laptops) and mobile devices across 11 CONUS regional sites and 5 facilities in the National Capitol Region. This position will be responsible for overseeing a team of 15 to 20 technicians, schedulers, and asset specialists, performing hardware and software tasks face-to-face with users in a fast-paced environment. Each legacy device will be replaced with a brand new system, both utilizing Win11 OS, however customers will be moving to a new Modern Workplace configuration and receive a new Apple mobile device. Candidates will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle ensuring new and legacy devices are inventoried, schedules developed and maintained, and technicians ensure that customers have access to all M365 services across workstations and mobile devices. Providing the highest level of customer satisfaction is critical for project success. This position is full-time onsite in Arlington, VA and Lorton, VA and limited continental US travel. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, management, coordination, and execution of the refresh project activities. This includes managing technicians and support team schedules to ensure fast-paced delivery of services. The role involves overseeing and managing end-to-end project delivery, which includes unboxing, labeling, and tagging PC/mobile devices, coordinating asset delivery activities, configuring PCs and mobile devices, testing and validating with customers, and ensuring the proper disposal of legacy equipment. The Project Manager will also respond in a timely manner to tickets and work orders, troubleshoot to diagnose issues, and replace or swap out equipment as necessary. Additionally, the Project Manager will be responsible for the creation of project deliverables such as project plans, requirements, and schedules, while working cooperatively with engineering leads to plan and direct project tasks. Managing project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining detailed project schedules are also key responsibilities. All work will be tracked and managed via ServiceNow, and effective communication with a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences is essential.
