About the position

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Program Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ, Charlotte, NC, and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position. The IT Program Manager will be responsible for conducting requirements gathering sessions with project teams, which include end user clients, architects, furniture manufacturers, and technology vendors. The role involves discussing IT, AV, and other requirements to ensure that all aspects of the project are covered. The IT Program Manager will provide comprehensive documentation that captures low voltage, electrical, audio/visual, and infrastructure scope. This documentation will take the form of a technical basis of design, which will be shared with architects, technology vendors, and general contractors to guide construction, pricing, and implementation. Additionally, the manager will develop AV solutions for custom conference rooms, utilizing enterprise standards as a foundation. Another key responsibility will be designing and laying out network equipment rooms and telecommunications rooms, ensuring adherence to company and industry standards. The IT Program Manager will also consult with the construction project team across multiple trades to ensure the successful delivery of the project. Responding to RFIs, reviewing product specifications, and assisting with in-the-field coordination will also be part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements gathering sessions with project teams including end user clients, architects, furniture manufacturers, and technology vendors.
• Provide documentation capturing low voltage, electrical, audio/visual, and infrastructure scope in the form of a technical basis of design.
• Develop AV solutions for custom conference rooms utilizing enterprise standards as a starting point.
• Design and layout network equipment rooms and telecommunications rooms adhering to company and industry standards.
• Consult with construction project team across multiple trades to ensure delivery of project.
• Respond to RFIs, review product specifications, and assist with in-the-field coordination.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management.
• Experience with internal cabling infrastructure.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong project management skills.
