About the position

BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated IT Project Manager V for an opportunity in Jersey City, NJ. This position is designed for an individual with a strong background in program and project management, particularly in Agile delivery. The IT Project Manager V will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end project delivery, ensuring that all aspects of the project are managed effectively and efficiently. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who can adapt to change and prioritize tasks to meet competing deadlines. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams, leading them through release planning and readiness, while also supporting change management policies and processes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as the candidate will interact with all levels of the organization. The position is hybrid, allowing for a mix of remote and onsite work, and is expected to last for 12 months. The anticipated start date is as soon as possible, although this is subject to change. Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end project delivery and management functions supporting program level management.
• Lead teams through release planning readiness and support change management policies and processes.
• Conduct Release Readiness and Quality reviews to ensure project standards are met.
• Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, providing updates and managing expectations.
• Organize and prioritize work to meet competing deadlines while adapting to changes in project scope or direction.
• Utilize tools such as Horizon, JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint for project management and documentation.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Program/Project Management, including Agile delivery.
• Experience in managing change and leading teams through release planning readiness.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction across all organizational levels.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Proficient in project management tools such as Horizon, JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint.
