About the position

The IT Project Manager V at BC Forward is responsible for managing various aspects of technology projects, including resource management, vendor management, and operational risk tracking. This role serves as a liaison between central teams and project managers, ensuring effective communication and alignment on project goals and metrics. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Manage resource allocations and forecasts for technology projects.
• Oversee vendor management processes including invoice payments and procurement.
• Capture and report key project metrics for executive-level reporting.
• Coordinate operational risk management and compliance activities.
• Facilitate communication between corporate governance teams and project managers.
• Develop financial forecasts and track actuals against budgets.
• Support the business management team in building reports and managing financials.

Requirements

• Proven experience in resource management and forecasting.
• Strong vendor management and procurement skills.
• Ability to create and manage metrics and reporting.
• Intermediate to expert skills in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Intermediate skills in SharePoint for managing workflows and data repositories.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a focus on delivery and results.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good problem-solving abilities.
