About the position

The IT Project Manager will lead cross-functional teams in delivering technology solutions that drive transformation within the Enterprise Risk Management Technologies Team. This role focuses on developing and implementing cloud-based solutions while ensuring alignment with business goals and technological strategies. The position requires a strong technical background and project leadership skills, rather than a focus on Agile coaching or traditional project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to develop and implement technology solutions for risk management functions.
• Collaborate with business leaders and technical teams to align with business goals.
• Drive the design and delivery of cloud-based solutions using AWS and SaaS platforms.
• Utilize Agile methodologies to enhance business processes and deliver capabilities efficiently.
• Mentor and manage a diverse team of IT professionals, ensuring technical excellence.
• Ensure successful vendor and stakeholder management to achieve project milestones.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a technical role, preferably with a development background.
• 3+ years of experience in project management overseeing large-scale technology initiatives.
• Proven ability to manage teams of 20+ IT professionals and collaborate with various business areas.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and SaaS implementations.
• Proficient in Agile development methodologies and experience leading Agile product teams.
• Experience with stakeholder management, vendor management, and people management.
• Solid understanding of DevSecOps pipelines.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical issues into business-friendly language.

Nice-to-haves

• Finance industry background is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Prior experience transitioning from a hands-on developer role to a project or technical management position.
