About the position

The IT Project Manager (Windows Server) at American Technology Consulting LLC is responsible for overseeing project management activities related to IT service delivery within the State of Indiana. This role involves relationship management, project planning, resource management, and tactical execution to ensure successful project outcomes. The position requires collaboration with senior management and stakeholders to meet business objectives while providing leadership and mentorship to team members.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for relationship management, project planning, resource management, and tactical execution.
  • Collaborate with senior management, stakeholders, and the team to meet business objectives.
  • Review, revise, and implement policies, practices, standards, and tools that support IOT project efforts.
  • Manage staff and teams as needed to ensure project success.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain project plans.
  • Establish and manage project budgets, understanding all financial implications.
  • Coordinate and monitor activities of all stakeholders to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
  • Communicate project status to management and project stakeholders.
  • Delegate work, set clear direction, and manage workflow effectively.

Requirements

  • 5 years of project management experience or an Associate's Degree with 4 years of project management experience.
  • Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar professional designation preferred.
  • Extensive experience overseeing multiple projects to successful conclusion.
  • Experience with technology projects using various development methodologies, including agile and waterfall SDLCs.
  • Ability to manage projects of relative high complexity and dollar value.
  • Strong knowledge of exceptional delivery of products and services to a wide range of users, especially in government.
  • Ability to handle multiple high-visibility, high-priority initiatives effectively and independently.
  • Exceptional professional presence and strong communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in government IT service delivery.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and financial management in project contexts.

Benefits

  • Competitive hourly pay of $52.05 per hour.
