About the position

The IT Project Manager will lead and coordinate advanced analytical work in an agile environment, focusing on the implementation of new client solutions such as Contact Centers and digital transformation initiatives. This role involves managing multiple projects, facilitating agile ceremonies, and mentoring team members in agile principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management, coordination, planning, and scheduling with client and vendor staff in an Agile environment.
• Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, retrospective, and managerial stakeholder status meetings.
• Work with product owners and internal customers to maintain requirements backlog and conduct requirements elaborations.
• Collaborate with scrum masters, developers, and solution architects to translate functional requirements into technical requirements.
• Mentor product owners, internal customers, project managers, and developers in agile principles and leading industry practices.
• Contribute to the development and sharing of agile standard methodologies.
• Assist in evaluating technical solutions and making recommendations based on sound reasoning.
• Prepare charts, diagrams, and tables depicting current and proposed systems.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and roadmaps.

Requirements

• 7 years of experience in project chartering, planning, scheduling, and road mapping.
• 7 years of experience in project management including Agile and other SDLC methodologies.
• 5 years of extensive knowledge of Agile Development Methodology and experience applying Agile practices and principles including Scrum and/or Kanban.
• 5 years of experience developing functional specifications and documenting functional designs for large projects.
• 3 years of experience with highly complex application security requirements.
• 2 years of proficiency with Microsoft 365 products including TEAMS, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Word, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• 1 year of proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
• 1 year of experience or any combination of Agile Scrum Master, Product Owner, Business Analyst, or PMP Certification.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Texas procurement and contract guidelines (Texas Project Delivery Framework).
• Experience with Texas client systems.
