About the position

The Senior Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and integration of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and IT projects, while also playing a key role in building and structuring a Project Management Office (PMO) to support the organization's strategic initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with leadership skills, a deep understanding of both M&A processes and IT systems implementation, and the ability to deliver complex projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and integration of M&A and IT projects.
• Build and structure a Project Management Office (PMO) to support strategic initiatives.
• Guide complex initiatives with a deep understanding of M&A processes and IT systems integration.
• Manage cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders across business and technical domains.
• Establish project governance, processes, and standard methodologies for the PMO.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in project management with proven success in leading teams and managing projects.
• Proven experience managing M&A transactions and large-scale IT projects, including systems integration, application upgrades, and data migration.
• Experience building and developing a PMO, including establishing project governance and processes.
• PMP certification is strongly preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems, with Epicor Prophet 21 being a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong meeting facilitation skills at all levels of the company.
• Excellent organization skills and strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
