About the position

The IT Project Manager will oversee the planning and execution of medium to large-sized projects within the IT Finance domain, ensuring that intended outcomes are delivered effectively. This role requires strong financial operations knowledge, particularly in the pharma industry, and proficiency in using ServiceNow for project and portfolio management. The position involves collaboration with various stakeholders and managing project deliverables, schedules, and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and execution of medium to large sized projects in the Finance domain to deliver intended outcomes.
• Collaborate with IT Business Partners and Digital Capability Managers to define project teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources to manage upstream and downstream dependencies, removing impediments as needed.
• Manage project deliverables, schedules, governance, vendors ensuring milestones are met within cost estimates.
• Prepare routine project status reports for sponsors on project health, performance, risks, and necessary remediation decisions.
• Monitor and control project schedule and financials.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing medium to large scale projects/programs within IT or IT Finance.
• Strong background in financial operations and reporting in the pharma industry.
• Solid grasp of portfolio and program framework.
• Experience reporting Project/Program status to senior leadership.
• Strong stakeholder building and relationship skills.
• Strong vendor management skills.
• Strong risk management skills.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred; Agile experience desired but not required.
• Proficiency in Project and Portfolio management tool ServiceNow.
