Whitley Penn LLP is seeking a highly qualified IT Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Dallas, TX. The driving force behind a strong IT Team is a skilled and dedicated project management team, and this role is crucial in supporting our efforts in project planning, management, and execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in developing, overseeing, and analyzing project plans, ensuring that all projects align with our internal Agile methodology standards and processes. The project manager will be responsible for preparing and presenting regular updates to relevant stakeholders, ensuring that project goals and outcomes are being achieved effectively. In this role, you will drive the project planning for IT-related initiatives and projects, coordinating and collaborating with internal stakeholders and/or third-party vendors to ensure successful project execution. You will be tasked with ensuring that projects are delivered within acceptable margins of error for time, scope, resources, and budget. Additionally, you will develop project scopes and objectives in collaboration with internal stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility within capacity and resource limits. Measuring project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques will be a key responsibility, as will supporting the relationships and communication between technology leaders and internal stakeholders. You will also be expected to escalate issues or performance matters as needed and collaborate with internal teams to address project performance gaps, driving continuous improvement in IT project management. This position requires a skilled, versatile, and detail-oriented project manager with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks, as well as excellent communication skills. You will be expected to take the initiative in managing job-related continuing education, keeping abreast of current trends in IT Project Management, and demonstrating a desire to learn and adapt to changes in the field.
