About the position

The IT Project Manager will lead the OMS 2.6 Upgrade Project, ensuring effective project management and day-to-day leadership of project functions. This role involves facilitating team meetings, managing project schedules, and maintaining communication with stakeholders to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate team meetings
  • Facilitate design sessions
  • Provide project updates to stakeholders and project personnel
  • Facilitate project schedule inputs and updates
  • Create, maintain, and communicate the project Risk register
  • Create, maintain, and communicate the project organization chart
  • Maintain and communicate the project budget and forecast
  • Complete System Design Life Cycle (SDLC) documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management
  • Solid project management skills
  • Effective organization skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Utility experience in the Operations space
  • PMP certification
  • Technical background
