About the position

The IT Project Manager at ImOn Communications is responsible for overseeing the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of all assigned IT projects. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with organizational policies and standards. The IT Project Manager will work closely with stakeholders, manage risks, and maintain financial responsibility while fostering a collaborative and rewarding work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the direction and coordination of IT projects.
  • Ensure IT projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Document instructions for end-users and assist with testing of final products.
  • Communicate with stakeholders during all phases of the project.
  • Oversee portfolio management for IT impacting work.
  • Plan, organize, and implement technical projects including preparation of schedules and requirements.
  • Coordinate production releases and rollouts.
  • Delegate tasks to necessary employees.
  • Present project progress and results to stakeholders.
  • Manage project budgets and monitor expenditures.
  • Lead risk management and mitigation efforts.
  • Gather, analyze, and report IT metrics.
  • Work with stakeholders regarding project requirements.
  • Implement document control policies and documentation templates.
  • Monitor project progress and implement changes as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with objectives, organizational policies, and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, or equivalent experience.
  • At least three (3) years of project management experience in a technical capacity.
  • Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Good negotiation skills with a customer-oriented attitude.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
