About the position

The IT Project Manager role involves translating larger program goals into well-designed project plans and assisting clients in developing innovative solutions to complex problems. Responsibilities

  • Transform larger program goals into well-designed project plans.
  • Assist clients in developing and executing innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Manage and execute tasks effectively with clients.
  • Prepare stakeholder briefs and manage financial workbooks.
  • Coordinate and respond to internal and external data calls.
  • Facilitate engagements with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DoD Project Management.
  • Experience with planning, scheduling, coordinating, and delivering IT projects.
  • Experience with financial and program management practices in a Navy or USMC setting.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and tools, including ServiceNow, Jira, or Confluence.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and lead a team.
  • Ability to anticipate, mitigate, and resolve risks and conflicts across workstreams.
  • Secret clearance required.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with FAR, DFARS, and DoD 5000 series regulations and laws.
  • Knowledge of procurement planning, pre-award documentation, post-award proposal management, and contracts administration.
  • SAFe Program Consultant Certification.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • ITIL Foundations Certification.
