About the position

Markon, LLC is seeking an IT Project Manager to support its Intelligence Customer. This role involves managing IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all project deliverables meet the required standards and timelines. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, tracking project schedules, and producing status reports, all while fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT projects from concept to completion.
• Perform PMF programmatics for assigned IT project(s) including schedule management and control gates.
• Track project schedule using MS Project and other visualization tools.
• Conduct technical writing and project documentation.
• Version control draft and baseline documentation.
• Track Team/Project Action Items.
• Handle project purchasing, documentation, and research.
• Develop project schedules and timelines.
• Develop and present briefings.
• Produce project status reports.
• Leverage experience across the Group and external offices.
• Create/update project documentation including PMF deliverables.
• Coordinate with Customer's security elements for Project Certification and Accreditation.

Requirements

• Experience managing technical/IT projects for the Customer.
• Strong understanding of Customer field environment.
• Ability to work with internal/external Customers/Vendors to gather requirements and execute plans.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Customer's Project Management Framework.
• Working knowledge of Customer's official message system and internal policies.
• Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Visio, and Access.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of ServiceNow and PowerBI.
• Experience with Field Communications and coordination.
