The Information Technology Project Manager is tasked with leading, planning, coordinating, and implementing projects in alignment with the specified requirements, deadlines, and budgets. This role involves driving the execution and operationalization of all assigned projects, adhering to established project management methodologies and IT PMO processes. The IT Project Manager is responsible for defining project charters and objectives, creating schedules, and providing oversight throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee assigned IT projects to ensure they adhere to established budgets, schedules, and scopes.
  • Understand, comply and execute all assigned projects, tasks and activities in full alignment with Ferring company standards including relevant SOP's and relevant GxP Compliance requirements.
  • Create, update and revise project proposals to outline objectives, technologies, systems, specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing requirements.
  • Set, monitor, and track project milestones: address and manage unforeseen delays, adjusting schedules and expectations accordingly.
  • Develop and implement communication plans to keep all stakeholders informed.
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize data to prepare comprehensive project status reports.
  • Conduct and guide strategic analysis to support project objectives.
  • Coordinate and manage all project phases to ensure timely completion.
  • Assemble and coordinate project team members, assigning individual responsibilities to ensure cohesive team effort.
  • Update and maintain all production technologies, ensuring their proper maintenance and installation.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in project management.
  • 3 years' experience in pharmaceutical or med-device industry regulated work.
  • Proven understanding of project management processes, strategies, and methods.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, and familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with a track record of establishing effective guidelines for others.
  • Strong sense of personal accountability in decision-making and team supervision.
  • Experience in a high-level collaborative environment, fostering a teamwork mentality.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to anticipate challenges and proactively address obstacles.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with ERP & MES systems.
  • Experience in IT room build-out projects.
  • PMP certification.
