About the position

The IT Project Manager will oversee and manage IT projects, particularly in the banking sector, ensuring that all project requirements are defined, risks are documented, and budgets are tracked. The role requires a blend of Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies, with a focus on delivering projects efficiently while adhering to company processes and governance standards. The position is hybrid, requiring a minimum of two days onsite in Frisco, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Define project requirements and write project scope.
  • Document and track project budget and financials.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, including escalation items.
  • Run project meetings and maintain communication with stakeholders.
  • Create project charters and assist with project scorecards.
  • Drive governance and ensure alignment with company processes and procedures.
  • Manage end-to-end project financials and resource demand allocation.
  • Utilize MS Project, MS Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, and CAPPM/Clarity for project management tasks.

Requirements

  • Experience in IT project management, particularly in banking and regulatory projects.
  • Proficiency in both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of project financials and resource allocation.
  • Experience with MS Project, MS Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, and CAPPM/Clarity.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain an executive presence and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Banking project experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with data engineering projects.
