The IT Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the complete project management lifecycle, which includes project planning, compliance with local regulations, and ensuring the successful delivery of project scope. This role requires effective client interactions with local manufacturers, logistics partners, and export traders, as well as managing issues and risks that may arise during the project. The IT Project Manager will manage and provide functional requirements for various custom and industry applications, including Oracle ERP, Kinaxis, E2open, and Business Warehouse and Reporting, specifically within the context of supply chain solution design. Key duties include preparing and reviewing project plans and schedules in collaboration with multiple stakeholders across Supply Chain functions to ensure project delivery and success. The IT Project Manager will lead and manage resource efforts, including backup and infrastructure setups during solution development and deployment. They will oversee work deliverables to maintain high-quality standards and interact with system clients to troubleshoot any risks or issues, managing operational parameters effectively. Additionally, the IT Project Manager will provide guidance on program-wide approaches, methodologies, and processes, defining the scope and release roadmap from a business perspective. This includes discussing and consolidating computing, system, and IT requirements with end users, business management, and solution vendors to facilitate user-friendly system deployment. The role also involves assessing and evaluating project feasibility, timelines, and requirements by comparing various vendor and internal proposals. Coordination with department heads, managers, subject matter experts, and the Project Management Office is essential to select improvement ideas and upcoming projects aligned with future solution needs. The IT Project Manager will administer the project operations of the IT team, reviewing and monitoring process workflows, and establishing and scheduling activities according to business priorities for project delivery. They will also be responsible for reviewing and approving system outputs, performance, and user requirements before the Go-live and operational run for end users. Delegating and reviewing the work of project resources, such as programmers, system analysts, and code developers, is crucial to ensure that solution quality and completeness meet business results.
