The IT Project Manager at the City of Pasco is a pivotal role responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects within the Information Technology department. This role requires a proactive approach to managing resources, coordinating team efforts, and liaising with third-party contractors or consultants to achieve project goals. In this role, the IT Project Manager will develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, budget, and schedule adherence. They will coordinate and lead project meetings with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure alignment and progress. Risk management is a critical aspect of this position, as the IT Project Manager will identify potential issues and develop effective mitigation strategies. Utilizing project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall, the IT Project Manager will optimize workflows and processes to enhance project delivery. The IT Project Manager will also be responsible for providing detailed project reporting and analytics, ensuring that stakeholders have clear insights into project progress and performance.
