About the position

As an IT Project Manager at Robert Half, you will play a crucial role in establishing a Project Management Office (PMO) that oversees multiple projects. Your primary responsibilities will include liaising with various stakeholders, such as project personnel, vendors, and end-users, to gather and clarify project requirements. You will be tasked with outlining, defining, and initiating projects, ensuring that all aspects are well-documented and controlled through the implementation of document control policies and documentation templates. In this position, you will maintain a comprehensive understanding of the assigned component projects, evaluating the standards of component products to ensure they meet organizational expectations. Monitoring project progress will be a key responsibility, and you will be expected to implement changes as necessary to keep projects on track. Additionally, you will monitor expenditures in accordance with the budget, ensuring compliance with organizational objectives, policies, procedures, and standards. You will compile project reports and communicate any issues or problems to management, ensuring that all projects comply with best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), PMO policies, and other relevant guidelines. Your leadership and organizational skills will be essential in driving project success and fostering a collaborative environment among team members and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, MCSE, or similar certification.
  • 3+ years of experience in a project management role.
  • Understanding of MSP ticketing and Alert Management Systems.
  • Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals.
  • Understanding of software development life cycle.
  • Outstanding leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong people skills.
