About the position

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management and delivery of a material change for a project of high complexity across multiple departments and business units. This role requires managing, leading, and directing the work efforts of resources that may be functionally aligned as part of the project and/or organizationally aligned as direct reports. The Project Manager will oversee the integration of various work streams to deliver the intended project solution, ensuring that project scope, timeline, and budget/expenses are managed effectively. The Project Manager will obtain and align resources to key project roles, establish clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities, and provide oversight for project execution, integration, and implementation. Risk management and mitigation planning will be critical components of this role, along with readiness/change adoption and stakeholder management. Quality assurance is also a key responsibility, ensuring that all applicable change requirements are satisfied. The Project Manager will act as the primary point of contact and integration for the project and may serve as a Programmer Manager on an interim basis when required. The ability to represent and deputize for senior project stakeholders is also essential.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for end-to-end management and delivery of a material change for a project of high complexity across multiple departments and business units.
  • Manage, lead and direct the work efforts of resources that may be functionally aligned as part of the project and/or organizationally aligned as direct reports.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end integration of various work streams to deliver the intended project solution.
  • Manage Project Scope, Timeline and Budget/Expenses; obtain and align resources to key project roles; establish clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities.
  • Oversight/Manage/Lead project execution, integration and implementation; Risk Management and Mitigation Planning; Readiness / Change Adoption/Stakeholder Management.
  • Quality Assurance, ensure that all applicable change requirements are satisfied.
  • Act as the primary point of contact and integration for the project.
  • Act as a Programmer Manager if required on an interim basis.

Requirements

  • Aptitude to get an Application Landscape view at a high level and understand Digital Landscape and Mobile.
  • Good team player and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little direction.
