About the position

The IT Project Manager at CACI will lead large projects or significant segments of complex projects within the program. This role involves coordinating across the overall program, managing scope, risk, and schedule, and troubleshooting project-related issues. The Project Manager will analyze problems and create innovative solutions involving scheduling, technology, methodology, and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate and collaborate with Customer leadership, addressing any potential problems, issues and/or risks.
  • Maintain a process for identifying efficiency improvement opportunities.
  • Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
  • Accomplish complex IT projects that may include ill-defined requirements, ambiguity, parallel tasks, multiple dependencies, high risks, and multiple interfaces; ensure alignment with strategic objectives; define and review customer and stakeholder requirements; follow plans and schedules throughout the life of the project.
  • Establish and manage liaison relationships relating to HR IT programs and practices.
  • Serve as a liaison with developers to ensure they understand HRM equities and processes.
  • Identify and resolve issues in project plans and schedules based on a clear understanding of customer requirements.
  • Provide insight to integrated project teams to ensure projects are completed on time.

Requirements

  • BA/BS and ten (10+) years of program and project management experience.
  • TS SCI with appropriate polygraph clearance.
  • Ability to work well with teammates in complex and fast-paced environments.
  • Knowledge of HR processes to provide tailored responses that meet customer needs.
  • Ability to maintain and develop contacts for technical exchange and collaboration.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team or collaborative environment.
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build and sustain professional networks across organizational boundaries to exert influence.
  • Ability to balance responsibilities among project activities and manage transitions effectively from task to task.
