About the position

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for leading the implementation of a NextGen Supply Chain program for a large off-price retailer. This role involves managing multiple supply chain initiatives from conception to go-live, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders and third-party vendors throughout the project lifecycle. The position is a 12-month contract with a focus on delivering project updates and collaborating cross-functionally within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of the NextGen Supply Chain program.
  • Manage multiple supply chain initiatives from conception to go-live.
  • Communicate project updates to various lines of business and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors on scoping and functional design processes.
  • Oversee the implementation of supply chain data capturing and reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of IT Project Management experience managing implementations.
  • Experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of managing projects from conception to go-live.
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with business teams and stakeholders.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with waterfall and hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Smartsheet or MS Project.
  • Strong understanding of PMP methodologies.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors.
