About the position

The IT Project Manager role within DSC Information Management (IM) is crucial for the successful definition and completion of various IM projects. This position involves a comprehensive range of responsibilities that ensure projects are executed effectively and efficiently. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for gathering requirements, documenting them accurately, and conducting systems testing to ensure that all project specifications are met. Additionally, the role requires the creation of detailed project plans, assigning tasks to team members, and leading the project team to maintain schedules and communicate project statuses effectively. In this role, the IT Project Manager will also be tasked with creating and maintaining a portfolio of existing and potential projects for DSC. This includes not only overseeing current projects but also identifying new opportunities for project development within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, particularly in Agile methodologies, and will be expected to facilitate requirements workshops and document findings thoroughly. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing project needs while ensuring that all stakeholders are kept informed throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • PMP certification is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of IT Project Management experience.
  • 5 years of experience leading Agile development teams.
  • 5 years of experience in requirements gathering and documentation.
  • 5 years of experience performing systems analysis, including design, testing, and integration.
  • Experience with MS Project is preferred.
